Mix: Borderless Grooves W/ Josh FB, Musical Backpacking

I tried to make this mix feel like a journey through all the music I love and the wonderful places and cultures that birthed these genres.

From the fantastic zouk and soca that originate from the shores of Caribbean Islands like Guadeloupe, Martinique and Trinidad & Tobago, To Brazilian and West African grooves, as well as the finest New York City Disco. Showcasing and celebrating the beautiful music that can be found across the globe is always my main priority.

There’s also a sprinkling of the euphoric power that great synth pop can invoke – whether it be Italo disco, South African or from other Latin countries.

Check out my radio and track sharing channel @musical.backpacking if you like these kind of selector/Dekmantel/killer tracks. This mix will especially be enjoyed by fans of my heroes –
Antal/Hunee/MCDE and Palms Trax.

Big up to the Borderless Grooves crew for having me on. I’m definitely not jealous that I secretly prefer their name to Musical Backpacking haha

Thank you to all the music lovers out there – especially if you like sticking your head in a crate of some kind x
